The General assembly comprises all regular members. The role of the General assembly is:

• to determine the major policy directions of the Network,
• to read over activity and financial reports of the Network so as to put forth improvements to be made,
• to adopt or amend the Network's charter,
• to endorse the appointment of the Director of the Network and members of the Executive Committee.

The General assembly is held annually. However, it may convene for a special sitting if deemed warranted by the Executive Committee. Notice of the General assembly is made at least two months in advance. Secretarial work for the General assembly is provided by the Administrative Director of the Network.
